About this speaker
Lisa began her admissions career with a special duty assignment teaching AFROTC at the University of California, Berkeley. There, she discovered her passion for mentoring and educating young leaders. While on active duty and in the Reserves, she spent the majority of her career focused on officer admissions and leadership development. After 20 years in military college admissions at the United States Air Force Academy and with Air Force ROTC, she pivoted and launched her business, Hillhouse College and Career Advising, LLC. Today, Lisa works with young people throughout the US on their college pursuits, with the majority focused on becoming a military officer.
Nationally known as an expert in military college admissions, she regularly presents at conferences (along with service academy admissions members) to college counseling professionals. She also volunteers time presenting to youth groups interested in leadership, including Civil Air Patrol, Junior ROTC, scout troops, youth philanthropy groups, and more.
