About this speaker
Throughout my academic journey, I have faced and conquered numerous challenges due to my disability, from high school to college, graduate school, and my professional life.
These experiences have taught me valuable lessons that I believe can benefit others in similar situations. I have learned perseverance, grit, and determination are essential for overcoming academic obstacles.
My experiences ignited a passion for assisting others with disabilities in navigating the ever-changing educational environment. Seeing others conquer their challenges motivates me to continue this work. I dedicated 15 years to higher education as a leader in Disability Services, leveraging my own experiences to help college students with various disabilities succeed in higher education.
I started IEP College Prep to share the lessons I have learned personally and professionally with others working towards a college degree. I strongly believe that the first six weeks of college can make or break a student, which is why I not only assist students in preparing for college but also provide support during this crucial transition period.
