Tina Tranfaglia

I have been working in college admissions for ~35 years, first as an alumna member of the Harvard and Northwestern Admissions Committees, and then as an independent educational consultant since 2007. My teammates and I have helped almost 1000 students achieve their college dreams so far. While I specialize in helping high-achievers aspiring to selective colleges and universities, other consultants on my team have developed specialties that complement mine, so that, collectively, we can help a wider range of students. We fill up every year solely on referrals.

I earned a B.A. in Economics from Harvard and an M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. I then spent 20+ years in brand management and new products marketing, accumulating dozens of patents and inventing/launching the Hefty® Zoo Pals® line of interactive tableware for children, among many new product launches.

I am a Professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), the leading and most selective association for independent educational consultants. In 2018, I was named "Top North Shore Woman in Business - Education" by 22^nd Century Media.
